Overview
Short Term Medical insurance is ideal for anyone who: Is between jobs, waiting for group coverage to go into effect, laid off and can't afford COBRA, has just graduated college, is waiting for medicare to begin, or is no longer covered by their parents' insurance. Coverage is available from 30 days to 1 year.

Benefits
The plan is designed to cover sickness and accidents, but not routine check-ups or wellness benefits. Prescription drugs are covered, though they are subject to the plan's coinsurance and deductible. Pre-existing condition exclusions may apply.
